Description
One sunny day a beautiful bird was flying in the sky and saw a very bright slimmer in the woods. It flew down to see what this silver sparkle was all about. A very old tree was being petrified.
“Hey, what’s happening to you?” the bird asked. The tree sighed. “I’m turning into silver. I know it sounds cool but when it happens I will not be able to move again. My leaves won’t fall and I will have no one to keep me company,” the tree explained.
The bird saw how sad the tree was and flew down to sit on one of it’s branches. “No, get off my branch. You will be petrified too!” the tree yelled but the bird did not move. It smiled and said, “At least I will be here to keep you company”.
